Easycom For WinDev-WebDev 14
AURA Equipements and PC Soft are partnering to deliver WinDev, WebDev and WinDev Mobile for IBM i - AS/400. Thousand of IBM i systems are running Windows, Web or Mobile applications, connected in real time to live data on DB2, and to native OS/400 Programs and Procedures.
The legendary simplicity of the WLanguage and the WYSIWYG environment of the development tools have converted RPG developers to new technologies.
Version 14 for WINDEV AS/400, WEBDEV AS/400 and WINDEV Mobile is now available.
Version 14 brings 501 new features.
Native access to IBM i - AS/400 is also updated, and compliant with WinDev 14 new features.
- PHP source generation : WebDev 14 AS/400 can generate full web sites in PHP, for IBM i - AS/400.
PHP applications developed with WebDev AS/400 can be deloyed :
- On Windows or Linux PHP servers connected to IBM i - AS/400 with Easycom for PHP.
- Directly on your IBM i server, using ZendCore for IBM i.

- Data Queues, Data Areas : New function in the WLangage allow Data Queues and Data Area access and management, without the use of virtual descriptions in the analysis.
- Create spool files on AS/400 : You can create a spool file on AS/400, from a printed form generated with WinDev or WebDev.
- Reading AS/400 spool files: Your WinDev and WebDev applications can receive the contain of simple spool files.
- SSL support: Security is enhanced with the use of SSL protocol between WinDev applications and AS/400 - IBM i.
- IPv6 support : New IP protocol (IPv6) can be used to connect Windows servers or stations to AS/400 and IBM i systems with Easycom.
- New IFS functions: WLangage functions dedicated to AS/400, allow WinDev and WebDev programs to access stream files in the IFS, for reading or writing.
- Export analysis in SQL format to IBM i - AS/400: When database files are creted on AS/400, you can now use SQL or DDS sources.
New data types only supported by SQL on IBM i can now be generated by from WinDev descriptions.
